We held our first meeting of the year yesterday with this year's officers:
We have lots of good things coming this year, from the Haunted House to the One Act Play, Spring Musical and everything in between. Team Challenges! Spirit Weeks! Appreciation Days! All these and more are coming this year.
Join the Remind, follow our Instagram, and watch this space for updates.
On May 5 after school, we will have our annual ceremony to induct new Thespians and present awards and recognitions for the year's programs. If you have been involved in any of our productions this year, we hope you will attend!
Due to COVID restrictions, food will not be provided as it has in years past.
If you are being inducted, you will receive information soon. If you don't receive anything from Mr. Pavlak by Monday, and believe that you *do* qualify to be inducted, please contact him as soon as possible.
Yesterday we had our informational meeting for the One Act Play.
The goal was to share information regarding rehearsal schedules and expectations, the date and place for competition, some things the show needs, and other things you (and parents) need to know.
The powerpoint from the meeting is here.
If you'd like to view the whole presentation, you can watch it here.
If you weren't present and need the performance contract (required to participate in rehearsal!), find a copy here:

Auditions for the One-Act Play are October 20 and 21, immediately after school in the auditorium.
Prepare for your audition by memorizing a monologue between 1-2 minutes long.
If time permits, we may proceed with cold readings from the script. (So plan to stay for the duration!)
Comedic contemporary monologues are recommended.
Crew Leadership applications are due by Oct 16 and can be found HERE. General crew applications will be available TBD.
Because One-Act is a GHSA event, you must meet academic eligibility requirements to participate. In short, this means you must have passed at least half of your classes in the previous semester and been a resident of a PCHS district for at least one year. If you have questions or are unsure if you qualify, please see Mr. Pavlak so I can check!
As more information becomes available, you will find it here.
Break a Leg!
Questions, see Mr. Pavlak!
Yesterday was our first Drama Club meeting over zoom! Click on the Drama Club tab to find out more info regarding everything we discussed.
As of 8/6/2020, the One Act Play competition for Georgia schools has been postponed until Spring.
Further dates and details will be given out as they are received.
Drama Club meets every Wednesday morning at 7:45 in the auditorium. See you there!
